Emotional capacity is the ability to stay steady when something inside you feels intense.
It allows you to feel anxiety, shame, anger, or vulnerability without being taken over by it.
This group strengthens that steadiness so what you learn in therapy or IFS becomes something you can actually live.

Together, they build your ability to stay present, respond instead of react, and relate differently to your inner world.
Over six weeks, you develop real skills:
• staying steady under activation
• leading your inner dialogue instead of being led by it
• increasing your sense of agency
• relating to others from more clarity
• regulating without shutting down or pushing through
You learn how to recognize when you’re blended with a part and practice shifting from “I am anxious” to “a part of me is anxious.” Using the Four Directions Practice, you begin accessing Self energy intentionally — even when you can’t fully feel it.
You identify your strongest protectors (control, planning, numbing, performing) and learn to speak for them instead of being driven by them. You practice offering gratitude and checking whether it’s actually received — turning insight into real internal relationship.
You work directly with activation and learn how awareness changes your nervous system in real time. Through structured micro-unblending (including 60-second practice), you build tolerance for strong emotion without shutdown or escalation.
You approach vulnerable parts slowly and safely, without bypassing protectors. You practice compassionate witnessing and check whether your presence is actually landing — building trust through pacing and consistency.
You facilitate dialogue between polarized parts and learn how to help them truly hear each other. Instead of choosing sides, you practice Self-led mediation that reduces internal conflict without suppressing anyone..
You design concrete daily check-in rhythms and relational commitments your parts can rely on. You leave with repeatable structure — not just insight — so the work continues beyond the group.

Each 80-minute session follows a clear and steady flow so you know what to expect.
We begin by arriving and orienting attention — settling enough to do meaningful work. From there, we move into guided experiential practice aligned with the week’s theme.
Sessions include:
• Facilitated live process
• Structured relational exercises
• Paired or small-group practice
• Internal dialogue work
• Whole-group reflection
The pacing is intentional.
Protectors are engaged before vulnerable material. Presence comes before intensity.
Between sessions, you’ll have simple relational practices to support continuity and follow-through.
This is guided, experiential work — steady, structured, and cumulative over six weeks.
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and a Level 3 Internal Family Systems Therapist trained by Richard Schwartz.
For me, IFS is not just a model — it is a living language for relating to ourselves. Grounded in neurobiology and relational science, it offers a precise way to understand how we organize internally and how we heal.
When we truly listen to our parts and relate to them with respect, something shifts. We become more coherent, more resilient, and more able to repair when we get it wrong.
This work continues to shape how I live and relate — with greater integrity and compassion.
We are living in complex and often fractured times.
IFS offers a way of relating to ourselves and to others that strengthens steadiness, kindness, and connection. As we learn to hold multiple inner and outer experiences without collapsing or polarizing, we discover how intelligent and resourceful our systems truly are.
It is a lived experience of coherence and deeper intimacy — especially when relating feels most difficult.
I warmly invite you to join me in a small group dedicated to practicing this way of relating.
Over six weeks, we will explore together in a steady and supportive space. This is not about getting it right — it is about showing up, becoming curious, and strengthening your capacity to remain present with yourself.
If this resonates, I would be delighted to welcome you into the group.

You build the ability to stay in relationship with yourself, not just understand your parts.

You learn to recognize parts through lived experience — what you notice in your body, not just labels.

We work with how activation actually moves through the nervous system, and how awareness begins to regulate.

It’s not enough to “send” compassion or gratitude — you practice checking whether it’s received.

Protectors first. Vulnerability slowly. Presence before intensity.

You leave with repeatable practices and a steadier inner dialogue — skills you can continue long after the group ends.
